Amarr@ge – GE200

The Swiss flag floating on the Rhône

The idea of a pool in the lake had been floating around TJCA for several years. The hot water used by the air-conditioning system of a large hotel on the banks of the lake is discharged into the Rhône River – The idea of recuperating the warm water seemed ideal for swimming. Couldn’t everyone benefit from the warm water? The launch of the competition for GE200 was the opportunity to propose a central, fun, and unifying place to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the arrival of the Confederates.

L’Amarr@GE was born! A platform of 30m times 30m with about 3000 floating cubes, offering three pools of different depths (40cm, 110cm and 130cm).
